Uniforms

Boys and Girls — School Appropriate Uniforms:
- Clean, neat, and weather appropriate
- Calvary T-shirt, Polo or Crewneck Sweatshirt
- Solid red or black short or long polo with collar
- Pants — black, tan, or jeans (any color; plain), loose and comfortable
- Shorts — fingertip length when arm is extended at the side (plain)
- Tennis shoes or school shoes
Girls — Additional Options:
- Black/red solid polo dress with shorts, leggings or tights worn underneath
- Skorts (shorts built in) — fingertip length when arm is extended at the side
- Skirts — shorts, leggings or tights worn underneath
- Tights — Red, Black, White (only)
Dress Code Violations
The following are NOT permitted:
- Hoodies of any kind (includes sweaters w/hoods). These may be worn outside.
- Coats worn in class over inappropriate uniform
- Leggings, knit pants (age appropriate — may be worn under skirts/dresses)
- Tight jeans
- Sweat pants
- Clothes with holes
- Tutus
- Brightly dyed hair (blue, green, pink as examples)
- Caps/hats (indoors/daily wear) unless for special occasions
- Open-toed shoes, sandals, or Crocs

System of Communication
Teachers are the first in line for checking students for dress code compliance and will document violations to parents through email and/or FACTS Office Referral. If students are not abiding by the dress code: they may be asked to change clothes, have clothes brought from home, and/or be subject to a written office referral. The Academy Director is the final decision-maker.

Cold Weather: Warm winter wear, coats, boots, hats and mittens are required during cold, winter seasons. All students will enjoy recess outside, weather permitting, and must dress accordingly.
Winter/Rainy Weather: All students must wear boots they can change into otherwise, they will be required to stay on the sidewalks during recess.
- Clothing worn to school and to school activities must be neat, clean, modest, and appropriate for the classroom atmosphere or the activity.
- Pants should not have holes or tears with skin visible - wearing leggings underneath jeans with holes is not allowed.
- Caps and hats are not permitted for daily wear in the classroom (except special theme days).
- Tattoos and piercings for students are not encouraged but allowed. Any visible tattoos and piercings may not be in conflict with Christian values and may not be a distraction to others.
- Hair styles (such as bright colors) must not be a distraction to others, as determined by the Director.
- For safety reasons, students should wear school shoes or tennis shoes during the day and not flip flops, sandals or slippers.
- Students are to dress in conformance with one's biological gender.
- Director makes final decisions on all attire.
