Bio

Stacy Glidewell has been serving and growing in the Lord for 40 years. She and her husband Joe have been attending Calvary Community Church for approximately three years. She will be serving Calvary Christian Academy as a paraeducator.

Stacy has over 25 years of experience in the school systems (both working & volunteering) in public and private Christian schools. She attended Missouri Western State College, has taken classes through Kirkwood and Grant Wood AEA.

She spent eight years with the Cedar Rapids School District as the Media/Librarian Secretary, encouraging students to read and learn something new each day. While working at Pierce Elementary, she used her talents of painting, making displays, and creating bulletin boards throughout the building and in classrooms. She also helped with the after-school book club, running/walking club, and PTA. Most recently, she has served as a paraeducator, working with students from Pre-K–5th grade.

Stacy looks forward to building relationships with the students, parents, and staff with a servant’s heart and desires to help students learn to the best of their abilities and love the Lord with all their heart.
